FoxFlash ECU Tool Read VW MED17.5 on Bench 

First Connect the FoxFlash bench box, Foxflash ECU Chip Tuning Tool, BMW ECU and computer correctly.

The wiring diagram which can be found under C disk/Program files (x86)/FoxFlash Manager/foxflash/DFB Technology/DOCUMENTS directory

Make sure to connect internet as well

Select driver, car maker, vehicle model to enter the main operation page

First connect and then read all

OK, read out the ECU is EDC16U34.

Audi MD1CS004 read + write OK
Opel zafira B 1.9cdti 150cv Edc16c39 can Read and write ok with obd
Write marelli 5af.n8 and marelli 8f2 and everything ok written and chk ok

Foxflash Read and Write Mercedes CRD3.0 on Bench
RED: + 12V 5, 15
BLACK: GROUND 2
BLUE: CAN-H 41
ORANGE: CAN-L 54

To read and write use the following driver:
→ BENCH MODE
→ MERCEDES BENZ
→ TC1797 – MERCEDES
and choose:
→ CRD3.1x

OBD Read/Write don’t work.  Not possible write mod file, checksum ok.
Because VR patch for obd write not available, so if read bench must write bench.
If you obtain ori file, send it to info@dfb-technology.com along with the ecu details, Foxflash team will add it to the database.

Bench mode:
Bench Read/Write work.
exactly make full backup on bench and if something goes wrong you have backup to restore.

Also mod over obd takes long time, there is a risk that battery voltage drop down and kill ecu while writing. Personally I don’t see any props about writing obd. Always bench! Quick and safe!

Can’t beat it for the price. Does a lot of stuff some of these expensive ECU programming tools can’t even do.

I was hesitant when looking into this product. I've owned a few  ECU programming tool, and I got to say FoxFlash is by far the best. 
This is a great investment, plus you get lifetime free of update

Shipped quickly arrived early and software activated, FoxFlash works as advertised. It’s a cool tool. It does what it claims but I don’t care for the yearly subscription.

Easy to use and tech support very helpful

For those who like it when someone gets straight to the point yes you should buy this FoxFlash tool. 
I don't see any downsides to this FoxFlash Super ECU programmer. Much of the time when buying a scan tool there are trade-offs where you justify the trade-off with the price of the tool but this tool takes on other tools that are easily ten times it's price range (Autel, Launch, Zurich, Snap-on, and Matco) and it just flat out performs right there on their level at a tiny fraction of the price.

I am a 20 year Automotive Technician, I purchased this tool last week and I have got to say FoxFlash Super ECU programming tool has definitely earned a place in my toolbox.

For the price it is the best reader at the price point. As well as better than some even higher priced for sure.
The software was a little bit unfamiliar to navigate at first, but the tech team is quick to respond and helpful to your situation. They got a good thing going and I look forward to watching it develop.
