The DC706 is replacing IOTerminal because it has full cloning function as well, plus many more functions such as ECM / TCM / BODY ECU, and updates are continuous.
The interesting thing is that it costs a third of the Full version of IOTerminal, therefore within everyone’s reach and without using a PC, with a Tablet and everything is done. DC706 will clone ford BCM, GM BCM, and clone dodge RFH. Cloning dodge RFH would be real nice to have, so it would pay for itself in just a couple jobs.
DC706 will record every step you performed. Users can easily check pinout and save a screenshot of the operation.
But DC706 will do OBD and bench mode only. It cannot do boot mode recovery as IO Terminal.
If you are looking for a ECU/BCM/TCU cloning device, DC706 is a good starter. If need a more professional device, then go for I/O terminal.
